Tiptoe Retreat
In December 2024, Tiptoe Retreat will unveil two luxurious, eco-friendly 'tree cabins' in Northumberland, offering a perfect blend of style and sustainability. Set within 600 acres of organic, regeneratively farmed land, these dog-friendly cabins, named Howlet and Brock, provide stunning views of the River Till valley and the Cheviot Hills. Each cabin is uniquely designed, accommodating two guests in super king-sized beds, with modern comforts like underfloor heating, wood-burning stoves, and outdoor copper baths. Guests can enjoy special features like a living roof on Howlet and stargazing through a skylight in Brock, along with access to a mirrored woodland sauna.
Sustainability is at the heart of Tiptoe Retreat, with cabins built from local timber and powered by solar panels and air source heat pumps. Guests can indulge in farm-to-door breakfast hampers filled with local produce. A range of activities is available, from Pilates and forest bathing to fishing and photography classes, ensuring guests can fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area. With the Northumberland National Park, Scottish Borders, and the Northumberland coastline just a short drive away, Tiptoe Retreat offers the perfect escape for those seeking peace, relaxation, and outdoor adventure.
